Proper Use and Compliance:

Our picture stands are engineered for quality and have been rigorously tested to ensure they are safe for their intended use (not to exceed 20 lbs total picture weight). However, safety is a partnership. By using this product, you acknowledge that its safety and stability are dependent upon strict adherence to the provided instructions and warnings which are as follows: 

Important Safety Instructions:

  • The stand can only be used against a firm, strong wall backing. Temporary backing surfaces are forbidden.
  • The wall surface must be as tall as the stand.
  • The stand requires a flat and vertical wall surface.
  • The wall must be at a right angle to the floor surface.
  • The stand must lean back into the wall surface before, during and after hanging a picture.
  • Maximum picture weight is 20 lbs.
  • If the stand bends, moves away from the wall, or tips from vertical floor alignment, remove picture immediately.
  • The stand must be setup vertically on a firm, flat, & dry floor surface. Any angle other than 90° to the floor will cause the stand to fall.
  • The base and legs should backup to the wall. 
  • The base should be no more than 3” from the wall. There are cases in which you may move the base away from the wall by 1-2” to help drop the stand back into the wall with greater force.
  • Do not setup the stand near open windows or doors where there is air flow that might catch the picture causing it to fall down. 
  • Wind must be avoided at all times as it can cause the picture to pull away from the wall knocking the stand down. 
  • Never allow children in immediate contact distance with the stand, never allow climbing on or playing with the stand.
  • Pets are not allowed to interact with the stand. If pets become interested in the stand, remove the stand immediately. 
  • Do not hang TV sets on the stand.

Mandatory Testing on Setup:

Because every environment is different (including surface levels and weight distribution of various pictures), users are required to perform a stability test upon initial setup.

  • Confirm the artwork is seated securely within the stand’s parameters not to exceed 20 lbs total picture weight.
  • Check that the stand is functioning as intended before leaving it unattended.

Assumption of Risk and Indemnification:

ArtPillar LLC is not responsible for damage to artwork, flooring, or surrounding property resulting from a failure to perform an initial safety check and the failure to follow proper use instructions as listed above.

Our products are found to be safe when used as instructed. By purchasing or using the product, you agree that:

  • You have read and understood all included warnings.
  • You assume all risk associated with improper installation or use exceeding the product’s rated capacity not to exceed 20 lbs total picture weight.

Agreement to Hold Harmless:

You agree to indemnify and hold ArtPillar LLC harmless from any and all claims, damages, or losses (including damage to artwork or personal property) arising from a failure to follow the provided instructions, warnings, and setup protocols.

Maximum Liability:

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ArtPillar LLC’s total liability for any claim arising out of the use of this product shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.

Terms and Conditions of Sale:

1. “As-Is” Sale

ArtPillar (the “Product”) is sold “AS-IS” and “WITH ALL FAULTS.” By purchasing this Product, the Buyer acknowledges that they have had the opportunity to inspect the Product (or review all provided descriptions/photos) and accepts the Product in its current condition at the time of sale.

2. No Warranty

The Seller provides no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Product. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Any implied warranty of merchantability.
  • Any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.
  • Any warranty regarding the durability, weight capacity, or longevity of the Product.

No verbal or written information provided by the Seller shall create a warranty or in any way increase the scope of this limited liability.

3. Limitation of Liability

The Seller shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the Product, including but not limited to:

  • Damage to artwork, canvases, or property placed on or near the stand.
  • Personal injury resulting from improper assembly, tipping, or structural failure.
  • Incidental or consequential damages.

4. Assumption of Risk

The Buyer assumes all risk associated with the use of the Product. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to ensure the stand is placed on a level dry surface, against a vertical strong wall surface, away from hazards as listed above, assembled correctly, setup and used correctly, and not loaded beyond 20 lb weight capacity.

5. Final Sale

All sales are final. No returns, exchanges, or refunds will be issued once the transaction is complete, as the Buyer accepts the Product in its “as-is” state.
